INTRODUCING

  • Quick Sites

INTRODUCTORY OFFER:

$500, one week, and minimal effort on your part to get a gorgeous business site up and running.
Quanities are limited for this offer and are a first come, first served basis.

Better than DIY Drag and Drop Sites! Why?

No programs to figure out on your own • As much design and plugin functionality as you can dream of • Achieve the exact results you want • Full support from a human, not a call center • Your support human is ME • A custom one page site that doesn't look like anyone else's • NO worries, headaches or wasted time.

The Problem:

After working with clients and designing their sites for many years, I have noticed a few things:

1. Drag and drop web development services like WIX and SquareSpace are infuriating and time consuming for most people. I have spent so much time fixing these sites for clients that I know it’s not for the general population of business owners.

2. A Facebook page for your business is is NOT a substitution for a website. The best way to lend credibility to your business is with a website, period.

3. Websites are better with less and do not have to be expensive. Sure, lots of companies require a large or more complex site, but most just need to have their information and offerings on there.

4. Things like cost and wherewithal to develop a site of one’s own are the largest reasons why small business owners don’t have websites. It shouldn’t be like that.

5. Business owners want to focus on their specialty–they don’t always have time to know about SEO or Google visibility or even do updates to their site. That’s okay! You can leave it all to me for an affordable rate!

6. Designers tend to disappear on people, leaving them without access to their own urls or websites, leaving people floundering and frustrated with what to do next.

The Solution:

A carefully developed and informed system that allows me (as a professional designer) to create beautiful, custom sites very quickly– with minimal effort on your part.

The how’s and logistics of the process have unfolded over my 20+ year career as a graphic designer and marketing specialist. I know how to take care of every part of your website with exactly what your potential customers need to know. Even better? While I provide full service support to you for a year (or more, depending on contract), I will also teach you how to access your site and make simple changes. You will never have not have access to your website.

In just a couple of days, your site can be created or upgraded to a gorgeous and memorable user-friendly experience.

You may be thinking: “Websites are expensive! Why aren’t yours?”

Yes, they can be and they should. It’s a professional skill with emphasis on SKILL. People need to survive, so yes, charging appropriately for services is a must.

Here’s the thing: I’ve done this for a very long time, and I’ve been developing the QuickSites concept for YEARS because I know the frustrations of other drag and drops and working with designers etc. Personally, as a small business owner myself it makes me sad to know that folks don’t have websites for the reasons I listed above, so I want to fix that.

Will I be hurting the pricing of the design industry by offering such services? Nope. Wix & Squarespace (and even, ugh…Fiverr-good luck with that) have existed for years. I’m just being a small business owner who hopes to become their main competition, and then hire and train designers like me (parents who have to stay at home to manage their family but also need income and a professional outlet for sanity) to help me create and manage sites. My system is designed with time management toward the top of the list of priorities and pricing is reflective of that.

QuickSites are intended to be one page, with one or two optional smaller pages. Anything larger than that is more expensive, of course. Many sites have over twenty pages, whether you realize that or not. Those are the expensive ones. Yours doesn’t have to be like that.

Quick sites are currently restricted to companies of 12 employees or less. Sites include: one-page website with up to two smaller pages which may be (but not restricted to) a photo gallery, a blog, an about page, or contact page; purchase of url (or transfer of your current url), hosting on the Seize the Design professional server through Bluehost for one year (and $250 after that); up to two revisions after initial design of page with additional changes charged at $150 per revision; type treatment of company name if you do not have a logo. Custom logos start at $400. Initial copy written after client worksheet is filled out; Website editing training (you will be restricted on how much you can do, however, with exceptions granted if client wishes); a backup of your site to keep offline if necessary; stock images licensed to your business; ssl certificate; implementation of best SEO practices. Additional pages are charged hourly at $150/hr.
